Trade
For architects, designers and builders
Specification support, panel schedules and a clear electrical interface — early enough to matter.
Interactive visualization — not a photograph of a completed installation.
The best switchable film installations are decided at design development, not at punch list. If we see the glazing package while it is still editable, we can align seams, locate transformers and define the electrical interface before anyone commits.
What we provide the design team
- Panel layout studies against the 5.9 ft maximum cut width
- Seam strategy aligned to mullions and architectural divisions
- Wire exit and edge-detail options per glazing condition
- Transformer location and service-access requirements
- Control-method options: switch, remote or smart-system integration
- Manufacturer specification data and warranty terms for your submittal
Coordination with other trades
We define the electrical interface clearly so it can be bid: quantity and location of low-voltage runs, transformer locations, control device locations and the connection scope reserved for a licensed electrician, as the manufacturer requires.
For glaziers, we confirm which face receives film, what edge conditions we need, and whether any hardware or gasket detail must be adjusted before installation.
Programme
Ghost Glass™ lists a normal product lead time of 12–20 working days depending on dimensions and quantity. We sequence measurement after glass is installed and final, and we build that lead time into the construction programme rather than discovering it during closeout.
