Frameless shower glass is specified to make a bathroom feel larger. Permanently frosting it undoes that. Switchable film keeps the enclosure visually open and gives it a private mode.
Where the detail work lives
Shower applications require the most careful edge and wiring detail of any residential scope. We assess the enclosure hardware, hinge and clamp positions, the glass condition, and how a low-voltage lead can be routed and protected away from direct water contact.
Not every enclosure is a candidate. If the geometry or hardware makes a durable detail impossible, we will say so at the survey rather than after fabrication.
What we confirm before specifying
- Panel dimensions against the 5.9 ft maximum cut width
- Which face of the glass receives the film
- Lead exit point relative to clamps, hinges and seals
- Control location outside the wet zone
- Transformer position and access for service
