Application
Healthcare smart film
Rooms that must be observable one minute and private the next.
Interactive visualization — not a photograph of a completed installation.
Healthcare environments have a specific requirement: visibility for supervision and workflow, privacy for patients, and surfaces that are easy to keep clean. Curtains and blinds struggle against all three.
Clinical use cases
- Consultation and exam room glass
- Treatment bays along a clinical corridor
- Imaging and procedure suite viewing panels
- Reception and intake glass
- Administrative offices handling patient records
Why glass instead of fabric
Glass is a hard, wipeable surface. Removing a fabric privacy curtain from a clinical room removes a cleaning burden and a visual clutter point at the same time, and switchable film provides the privacy that curtain was there to deliver.
Because the film is applied to existing glass, a practice can upgrade room by room during off-hours without closing the facility.
Coordination in healthcare facilities
We plan around infection-control requirements, after-hours access and the facility's electrical contractor. Ghost Glass™ requires the electrical connection to be made by a licensed electrician, and in medical facilities that work is usually performed by the contractor already credentialed for the building.
