Retail smart film
Display when you're open. Privacy for a VIP appointment, a merchandising reset or after hours.
Interactive visualization — not a photograph of a completed installation.
Retail glass has to do two jobs that contradict each other: expose the merchandise and, at specific moments, hide the room. Switchable film lets a storefront do both without shutters or window vinyl.
Retail and showroom uses
- Street-facing storefront and display glass
- VIP and appointment-only rooms
- Showroom partitions between display zones
- Back-of-house glass visible from the sales floor
- Fitting and consultation areas
Merchandising and brand
A storefront that goes opaque during a window installation protects the reveal. A jeweller's appointment room that turns private on a control communicates discretion better than a curtain does.
The film can also serve as a rear-projection surface in its frosted state for brands that want a moving display, subject to a project-specific review.
What to plan for on a storefront
Storefront panels are often tall and wide, so panel layout against the 5.9 ft maximum cut width, seam placement, and access for installation are the first three questions. Exterior-facing glass is assessed against manufacturer guidance rather than assumption.
