Smart film for glass partitions
Interior glass walls, upgraded from permanently transparent to two-state.
Interactive visualization — not a photograph of a completed installation.
Demountable glass partitions gave modern interiors their light and their acoustic separation. What they did not give is privacy, which is why so many are covered in applied frost bands within a year of occupancy.
Partition systems we work with
Most framed and demountable partition systems accept film readily because the frame gives the lead a natural exit and hides the run. Frameless butt-glazed systems require more thought about where the wire leaves the panel and how the vertical joint is detailed.
We survey the system, confirm the glass type and thickness, and plan panel-by-panel rather than treating a wall as one surface.
Typical settings
- Office fronts and internal meeting rooms
- Clinical corridors and treatment bays
- Education and training rooms
- Residential room dividers and glass-boxed studies
- Showroom and gallery zoning
Zoning and control
Partition runs are usually zoned: an entire wall on one switch, or individual bays on separate controls where rooms are used independently. Zoning is a wiring decision made during planning, and it is much harder to change afterwards.
